Today we woke up early, like really early. We were going to a wholesale marketplace thing, to help our guide get clothes for the orphanages with the donated money. At first she just choses the clothes she wanted and told the salesperson how many of each thing she wanted. Then she got all 120 packs of baby clothes and put them in a giant, canvas, shopping bag, and the 60 pairs of shoes in anothes bag. The one with the clothes was extremely heavy. I was stuck with that one for the beggining and end of the walk/bus ride to the post office. When we finally got to the post office it was just me, our guide, and another guy. I set the bag down on the floor and looked at my hand, it was all red with one white strip down one side. It hurt really bad. The post office was insane, we took all the clothes and shoes and put them into two boxes, then the guide told me to take one over to the table so she could write something on it. Next she told me to go help the other guy tape and close the other box. Finally she said, "go, take it to that lady over there!" I be like "Dude... there's 4 ladys over there..." So she shoves me toward the lady she meant and gave me 100 yuan. Im like, ok... i have a box, a paper, Money! and no idea what to do. So the lady takes the paper stamps it, takes something from the inside that i didn't even know the paper, or now envelope had, stamps that and puts a sticker on the box. By now my vision is blurry, i dont know what to do... eventually i get my senses back and realize, THE LADY TOOK MY MONEY!!! But i be like you know what, you can keep that if you show me the exit! Ya... but she finally made change for the money she TOOK, and the boxes were on their way to God knows where, and we were off to the hotel again!
