Ok, earlier i was in such a hurry that i forgot to start at the beginning of the trip so... from the beginning. Ok so after the last phonecall, i said my last goodbye to my grandparents, and then drove to my other grandparents. We ate dinner and hung out for a while before driving to the airport at about 1o:oo. We didn't even have to leave till 12;oo but we had to go thrugh customs and get our visas and passports checked, which sucked but ya, oh well. So we finally got into our plane and got comfortable. It was delayed for like an hour because another plane like had a nuclear bomb dropped on it and everyone was dying or something. Anyway it was pretty fun for like the takeoff, then it was boring. I watched that one movie where the guy like cant stop moving or he'll die or something like 5 times, then i watched Scool of Rock and What about Bob. It took like 15 of 16 hours for the sun to come up, but when it did it was Beautiful. There was allmost all the colors of the rainbow and a bright red sun. You had to be there, but by the time i got off that flight i swear airplane food was probably my biggest fear. Anyway, we are lucky because it is the Chinese new year so there is a buttload of fireworks everywhere, especially right this minute. My dad also has a friend whos friend lives in Bejing, where we were so my dad called him to ask if we could chill with him for a while and for directions to "The Tree," a pizza place suppozed to have the best pizza in Bejing. So we got directions, and on the way to the resturaunt a black dude politely nods at my dad so he nods back, not knowing what was going to happen next. The dude walks up to my dad and says
"need some stuff man?" my dad just as politely says,
"not right now" so we kept on truckin' going down alleys and back roads till we found the cozy little restraunt. The food wasnt bad, but it wasnt pizza from America, but you're in China; what are you going to do? Ok after we finished eating, walked back, i actally saw some Chinese graff which i was looking for but i think it was the black dudes or something, because it didn't look Chinese. We had to walk back by the black dudes again, so i guess he got the bright idea to ask me and my dad if we wanted some "stuff" but he said no again.(very predictable) But that little section totally reminded me of east LA or something. But when you see black people in China you kinda know they're up to something. Anyway, after that we got my mom, brother, and sister a cab back to the hotel. Me and my dad got a seperate cab, however, and whent to his friends friends house or apartment rather and went upstairs. He opened the door and we walked in, he offered us drinks, so i asked for a beer, and got a greenish blue brew. It tasted fine it was just funny lookin. They started talking about how they knew their friend. But after a while my dad asked him how an Americain guy winds up in Bejing with a Peruvian wife. I cant remember quite how he answered that but it led into his life story. This is the sick part, the guy has been almost everywhere except Africa, and he had a lot of adventures in the places he'd been. He spent the night in a pond hiding from the fuzz after being shot at trying to sneak into the Soviet Union. He spent a week with an insane man in Mexico, who was like 5o or 6o years old with 3 or 4 odd jobs, a 19 yr old girlfriend, and bullet holes in his door. One day while there the man hands him a gun, takes him on the roof, and tells him to shoot anyone that goes on the sidwalk. Im sure this would be scary but there was a car that no one recognized and they were afraid but in the end it was just a lost tourist. He did a lot of other stuff too but i don t want to bore you and i cant remember all of it. After that we went to our hotel and slept. So the next day after the stuff that i already told you about in the previous post, we saw the Great Wall. It was huge, so many steps! And every single one was uneven, i ran up some, but mostly staggered i was so tired. But once i got to the top, me and my brother ran All The Way Down. We were tripping on the uneven steps and almost falling and Dying, but not really cause im writing this. But of course the only time me and my brother need a bathroom, there isnt one, so we stopped, and we pissed off the Great Wall of China! That memory will stay with me the rest of my life. After that we saw some like pearl factories and jade and stuff but after dinner we saw an acrobat show. The show was awsome, but of corse "Frenchy" in front of me would not stop sucking on his girlfriends' face so i couldnt see some of it. But other than that, it was insane! There was two people in a dragon costume, making one dragon; then two dragons balanced on one ball! You had to be there but it was amazing, they also got something like 19 people onto one bycicle, that was pretty cool. The next day we flew to the city that we are at right now and saw the Terra-Cotta warriors. It wasnt the coolest but it was still fun. Tomorrow we are flying to Chonquing or something and the day after that we're getting our sister! Yea... ok basically be thankful for your balls, if you want to drink, come to China, and if you miss your friends after short periods of time, dont come to China. Thank you and goodnight or morning or whatever it is in America

Dude, your so crazy, get hammered. Pee off of more national monuments, I'm thinking of a guys trip when were 18, peeing off the 7 Wonders of The World, but be careful on the Leaning Tower of Pisa, thats a tricky one. heh heh heh

Hi Taylor,
I love your post. I see China from an entirely different prospective now. Do I need to stock up on Chinese beer for your next visit? Enjoy every minute of China. This is a once in a life time opportunity that you don't want to miss, and you will be home soon.
Love, Grandma Sheila
